Kuru Kuru wins Gold in London!

Kuru Kuru Pinot Noir 2015 was awarded a Gold medal at the International Wine Challenge 2017, judged in London. This is the world's largest wine competition and reflects the world class quality of Kuru Kuru wines.

Kuru Kuru Sauvignon Blanc was awarded Pure Gold in the 2013 Air New Zealand Wine Awards, Kuru Kuru Pinot Noir 2013 won Pure Gold at the 2014 awards and Kuru Kuru Pinot Noir 2014 was awarded Elite Pure Gold at the 2015 Air New Zealand Wine Awards.

Organised and owned by New Zealand Winegrowers, the Air New Zealand Wine Awards competition is well known for its rigorous judging process. It is considered the country's most prestigious wine competition and is regarded as the official competition of the New Zealand wine industry.

Few producers are able to consistently win Gold medals vintage after vintage and for a small producer with only 3 wines this is something truely exceptional.

KURU KURU PINOT GRIS JUDGED No. 1 in NEW ZEALAND AND SAUVIGNON BLANC No. 3 

Cuisine Magazine conducts a varietal tastings highlights the Top 10 and highest rated 4, 4 1/2 and 5 star wines as well as the "Best Buys". 

All wines are tasted blind by the judges, consisting of wine panel chair John Belsham and two other panellists, including one specialist winemaker in the chosen wine variety. 

Kuru Kuru Pinot Gris 2014 was judged No. 1 out of 132 wines tasted March 2015 issue 169. 

Kuru Kuru Sauvignon Blanc 2013 also made the top 10 list add was awarded Best Buy.
